In its second year, and New to NYC Zouk Festival 2019, we are happy to announce that this year's celebration in honor of some of the long established teachers of this dance, NYC will continue to have our successful Professional Development Track to be given on Friday October 4th from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

This course is dedicated to those who wish to understand more about the history, roots, evolution, music, etc of Brazilian Zouk.
It will be Renata Pecanha's first time in NEW YORK CITY and we can not be any more excited to have her : ) In addition did you know that Renata was one of Jaime's students in his school. Find out how Jaime discovered Zouk Lambada and brought it to his school and then how it journeyed unto a style known as Rio Today.

The professional development training will cover the following:
