Kim Rottier is most known for her hand in bringing Brazilian Zouk to North America; founding and directing ZoukNY, co-creating FALL FOR ZOUK, and for providing training and mentoring to some of the most celebrated and recognized Zouk dancers and instructors of North America with her ZoukNY Instructor Certification Program (ZKNY ICP). Most recently, she has combined her doctoral research and training in Mindfulness with her love of Zouk in creating the signature “Zouk in the Dark” event - a Zouk experience of connection and connectedness - with her event partner DJ Power. Zouk in the Dark is a pop up event in NYC and due to popular demand, it is quickly expanding to Zouk Congresses around the US and Canada.
